Wray is a small village in Lancashire, England, with a population of 460 (possibly including animals....). Every year , towards the end of April, strange objects appear outside the door of almost every house. It is the INVASION OF THE SCARECROWS.

The appearance of the scarecrows heralds the start of the Scarecrow Festival which ends with a Fair on May Bank Holiday.
